Default ATX to MTX swap Successful

I finished the swap last wed, my father was secpticalthe whole time. Got it all back together and it fired right up. The only issue is when the car is cold it has a problem with chattering forwards and backwards when i let the clutch out all the way. I have not yet put in the bobble strut its on order but could that be the prob. Thanks for all the help all the infoon here really made it easy.

I'm not sure what you mean by chatter but if its what I think it is then its fairly common on neons....

Is it like when your driving in lets say 3rd 2nd or high rpm 1st and let go of the gas the car "chatters" and when you get back on the gas it "chatters" again???

Random question, do your reverse lights work? lol. j/w. And for the chattering do you mean then stop/go/stop/go feel the car gives when u don't balance the clutch right in a manual car when letting the clutch go suddenly while in gear? or something else

Yes my reverse lights work along with the neutral start safety switch. I had to rewire them both.

Yes I am experienced,I recently had an Mtx 98 firebirdfor a yearand on top of that I have my class A driver’s license. The chattering does stop when I hit the gas at just the right time, or when I shift into second it still does it a little but I just push the gas a little harder and it goes away. The weird thing about it is that it only does it when it is cold, but when it is at operating temp for a bit then it wont do it anymore. Tomm im going to finish welding on the bobble strut mount and put on a brand new bobble strut from the dealer. Hopefully that fixes it, if not you will be hearing from me.

That was my first thought.

Did you replace the TOB? You should have!
