Default intercooler

So what happens if i dont use a intercooler and run the turbo straight to the tb? Will that hurt anything? Whats the positives and negatives? Thanks.

all positives are for a ic
positive...less heat = less chance of pre ignition
positive...they look good
positive...like spud said more performance(becausethe iccools down the air charge)

i won't meantion negatives because unless you get one thats to big there is no real negativesjust go get a f-ing ic

there is a possibilty of detonation running without an IC.

Yea but its such a b**** to run the pipes. Did you look at my pics? i had them in a post like 2 days ago check them out. I have a jdm intercooler that came with the turbo. I kind of wanted to hide the turbo and everything for it so no one will know and i can make a few bucks.

Just make sure you use the paint I mentioned,normal spray paint wont let the air cool the IC correctly.

negatives=hole in your pocket

and whenever i can afford a turbo i will paint the ic black that way it just looks like black mesh with my black car so it doesnt look turboed
