Honestly i dont believe you have 300hp in your neon. I would love to see your list of upgrades and work you have done. Not to mention the pics to back it up. I havent even heard of a 1st gen with a 6 spd tranny

 

i wouldnt go that far....
i was pushing just over 350whp with my built motor a few monthes ago...so it is possible...

though i would like to see a list of mods

 

+1 on seeing proof of your neon blair, just they way you said turbo charger and 6spd tranny makes be doubtful... But hey, prove me wrong!

 

yeah i would love to see the list pics would be nice too. 6spd tranny just get a viper and trick that out you will reach your 800 hp lol

 

has anyone ever converted a neon to a v8 ?? ..ive never heard of it ..but it would b sweet ..and with enof $ its possible....if ur a good fabricater and know ur way around a wrench ...my addvice to u ...is go for it ....i mean that is if u have the cash ... make it one of a kind ..and put a 9 inch ford rearend under it ..it would b tough to do ...but itd be amazing after it was done ....if u would happen make the conversion i will personally come see it no matter where u live..haha.

 

yeah there are v-8s but its basically a frame with a fiberglass neon body..google it

 

i dont have a 6 speed in there yet..i WANT to put one in there...sorry if i mis led ya on that one...

 

the thing that would be really cool and i wana do one day is get ahold of a Z06 frame and a LS7 motor and transplant the nena everything on the vette frameand with the LS7 it will have 505HP STOCK! so just grab me a turbo and some other stuff then there u go 800HP or get the lingenfelter motor and get 1100BHP

 

if people can make 7-800 horse power honda's... why couldnt a neon do it

 

thats what i always wonder so its got to be possible not sure how but it HAS to be capable
