the reason you see so many 7-800hp hondas are becuase Honda guys are alot tighter then neon guys... let me explain...

You can take a civic motor and put it in a integra
you can take a integra motor and put it in an civic
you can take a accord motor and put it in either of the above.
you can take a motor from one generation and put it in a different generation...

basicly you can swap any motor from any honda into any other honda of any modern year.... that encompasses alot of honda owners... so they alot more options then we do... alot of different block and head options...

with us neon guys we dont have much of a seletion of heads or blocks and all we can really swap is a srt... or a stratus motor... plus its only us neon guys one model of guys where the honda guys have like 8 different models of owners adding up to many more guys then what the neon crowd has...

Let's see:

1 sticker= 5hp
800 ÷ 5= 160

So you'll need 160 stickers to make 800hp. Shouldn't cost more than $150
Hope this helps.

Signed,
Civic owners

yeah, 800hp out of a neon would be sweet, but u would NEVER get the car to get traction... that would be the worst part about it, would be a good burnout king though.....

Plus the Hondas have that little thing called Vtec. I know it sounds stupid but Hondas with Vtec is like having a little turbo in there, then you add a Big turbo.... thats what gets you some serious HP. You gotta hand it to Honda, esp with the S2K. That would be cool to add Vtec to our engines, or at least the same principle.

Anything is possible with enough money. But to make a streetable neon with that HP is almost impossible.

yeah the vtech is a good thing for the hondas, but i am still trying to figure out why they put one on the sohc engines?? those things r slow stock, even with the vtech hooked to it... but the dohc is a whole different ball game...lol
