Ok so after saving every last pic of 6sic6 and 96supercharged (not on this forum) I came toa realizeation... I got to looking and I have one of the models of the m62 that has the long snout... 6sic6's is a short snout model.... So I got pissed... Then got on ebay and found a seller that sells fully rebuilt m90's for right about 375 shipped, and will take my m62 as a core and give me 150 core charge for it...(hell its 100 bucks more then i paid for it...lol) taking the price down to 225... plus it has the short snout... making it easy to line up with the belts if im able to make the left side bracket if you look at the pics below you can see what im talking about it just happens to line up perfectly with the bracket mounted straight across to the block... plus I wont have to build the discharge plate due to the m90 having a stock one available that will run to the intercooler.... (thanks for talking me into it 6sic6)

This will become a project log once i get the m62 sent off and the m90 back in the mail...

The second pic shows the bypass valve on the m62 that the m90 is located elsewhere not having to worry repiping it...
Third pic is of a m90 and the stock discharge plate...freaking sweet....
Forth pic shows how the short snout lines up perfectly with the belts with a straight accross bracket...

quit being a f-ingidiot you have a 4 banger not a v6 or a v8 why in the hell would you want to supercharge it...it's waist more gas and would be owned by a goodturbo...you would need to mod the engine up just the same wtf...if your doing itto berare then fine but it's a stupid thing to do if your going for the fastest neon...i have no problem with it though so good luck.[8D]

personally i would like to only have a pssst once in awhile not a long forever going wine...atleast not in a 4 banger it would be cool in the charger

All I want to do is challenge myself. Anyone can put toghether a turbo kit... hell slash did it... I just want a fun car to play with... I guerentee that if i handed you the keys after i was done you would come back with a **** eatin grin on your face...

I'm half *** doing it to be one of the few but now it has turned into a lets see how much easyer I can do it then the others. While making the design better. I guentee that I will have my radiator in the stock location. And retain power steering.

And its starting to **** me off that people are telling me to go turbo... Hey if I can get the supercharger going I will sell the kit just like sky perry sold his to 6sic6 and then maybe go turbo... right now I just want to prove to all these people that it will work on a DOHC and still be a better design then in previous builds...

A Turbo is the most efficient way to make power seeing it takes none to run it, But on the Other Hand a Super Charger is awesome cuz its instant power.

EstNeon is off base on this, Choose your poison super charger or turbo your going to own many non Dodge Cars with it anyway you look at it. Top Fuel Dragters run 330mph in 4 seconds with a supercharger I'd like to see a turbo spool that fast!.

I love Turbos and Super Chargers I think that budget and imagination are the limits of performance, your imagination and budgetmay be bigger than the guy running the turbo or the otherway around.

I think the Super Charger idea is cool, instant power!


PS: I have a 6-71 Blower laying around that I bought 6 years ago, but I don't think that will fit between the engine and radiator...lol

i think that it is really cool that u r doing things different, and i hope it all works out for u, i honestly would like to twincharge a 95 neon i just picked up for cheap.... something very different, and if i want some real power i will just jump in my 02 and run that, the twin turbo will be more for braggin rights, than building the "FASTEST NEON" AHAHAHAHAHAHA
