o i checking the fuel presure and its at 60 psi. i ges my regulator in the tank is bad lol or its just not there i dunno but i put my fuel presure gauge on the test port and it was right at 55 to 60 when u throttled it

 

yeah its static 49psi... at idle it will be at 49psi... as you go its gets higher

 

60 psi so i just ran a aluminum return line mounted fpr on the firewall

 

ok i setup the fpr it runs i take the vac line off set it at 49 i put it back on and it goes to 40..now the car idles starts better. but now feels like i got a power band all of a sudden it takes off like a vtec would when the vtec solinoids go on. should i rase it so the base pressure with vac line is 45 and when presure goes up it be like 55 is that bad idea? any experiment psi to test i got a wide band so i can tune

 

your running it way lean... take it up to 49 at least. unless your running bigger injectors... your going to make you motor really unhappy really quick...

 

well its a rise rate regulator so ur saposed to set presure with vac line off witch was set to 49 but when u put vac line on it goes down to 40. but they say thats how ur saposed to set the pressure. so are you saying leave vac line on and set it to 49? if i do that when vacum goes away the presure will rise way above 49. what do you think?

 

do what ever you have to do so when the car is at idel the pressure is at 49psi...

 

i would think that running a little lean at idle wouldnt be that bad, since usually when ur at idle ur not under any load. maybe checking fuel pressure at 1k intervols would make some more sence so he cansee for himself how his system would messure up against urs? just a thought, i havent really studied our fuel systems specifics enough to really know, just a thought.

 

without a wideband do you really want to risk it...
