RE: no spark..everybody says they get it fixed at a shop but never tell what it is
well the connection to the starter is good... as far as grounds go i have a question.... there is a metal braided thing that connects just underneath the power steering resevoir and then ground across to the body of the car near the front strut tower (it almost looks like a tape worm and is about 3/4 inch wide) the connection is horribly loose underneath the power steering resevoir and can be moved all over and i cannot get a socket in there to tighten it up at all... but it is still connected somewhat... i dunnomuch about it but i hope im explaining it at least well enough for u guys to know what im talking about... would that have any affect on the car not sparking??? please let me know if u have any input at all because i neeeeeeed this car to run!! thanks guys!

Then just put on a new engine to frame ground. Why do you think you have a bad ground? Do they get hot or throw off smoke? Make sure the ground by the starter is hooked up good and clean. Check the hot wire for the coil pack. If you dont get power to the pack fallow the wire make sure its not that. Make sure the computer isnt junk. Check to make sure your timing belt is hooked up and not broke. When i dropped a new engine in my auto neon i had no spark. I got check engine for a tranny sensor and no fuel. I fixed those to things and it fired up. If you have a check engine light i would start with that. Could be the crankshaft sensor also right? You need to have atleast one good ground to the engine.
