Default head clearance

would it be safe to take 4 thou off? head is warped about 2-3 thous the extra thou would be just to clean it up
would it be ok

well turns out its gonna be about 20 thous gettin taken off.
am i gonna have a problem with timing

I took 28 off mine, but re-cammed with a Crane.

i have 30/1000ths taken off of mine with crane 16s and its fine

i will still be using stock cams though so will i have any interfence problems? will i need new cam gears

you wont have an interferance problem if you time your car correctly when you re-install your timing belt... you will not need new cam gears.... It never hurts to go out and get a degree wheel and do it the right way...
