so, as i was pulling into my driveway trying to get into my garage. my tires began to spin due to all the snow that we just got. and got the RPMS to around 5-6k and then i started to smell coolant and coolant quickly filled the carpartment. and all my fluid went byebye rather fast and smoke was all over the engine bay. but it seems like the coolant was coming from behind the motor around where the coolant res. is. any ideas as to the problem?

ALSO! does anyone know how to get blood off seats? one of my friends had a well, accident, and now theres blood on my passanger seat and my car smells like blood now.

yeah i did have the heater on.

 

the only lines i can think of thatwould beclose to the firewall would be theheater core coolant lines.

 

If it came from the the coolant reservoir area, then I would say it may be your overflow line came off, rad cap opened up, or the upper rad line burst.

 

i'll have to wait till either tomorrow or Sunday (depending on if i have to somehow make it into work tomorrow with this blizzard). but i'll check those things. thanks guys. i was thinking the res. or the cap or the line. but the line is new. cap is new and was still on tight. I'll check the heater lines and res. when i can.

 

peroxide will take blood out of anything and not ruin the material. ya know, the brown bottled stuff for your cuts and whatnot! wifey learned that trick in med school.
