So I went down to the jy today, hoping to fine a new cluster and something told me to ask about a 2.4... so they said they dont have one right now and the guy that rips the cars apart said yeah we do I'm acually about to pull one in about an hour it just came in and is not in the system yet... So I went out to look at it and there sat a 00 stratus with a dohc 2.4 that had been rolled in 2002 sat in the back yard of the guys house and just now brought to the jy... THE MOTOR ONLY HAS 17,5XX MILES ON IT... The guy at the counter said if I give them my sohc, and he doesent have to warrenty it... that I could have it for 300 bucks... I asked to see it run, it did, I asked for a compression check, its awsome, I asked for a leak down test, its awsome... So out came the 300 bucks, and then 25 bucks to get it to my house tomorrow... Wow, what a deal...

300 eh?? i went to an auto wrecker here and got a running 2.4 out of a stratus for 150$ lol

 

it will go in after I rasie about another 500 bucks or so... I'll have to add everything up... I have alot of what i need...

yes i know however i was replying to acr96*'s cheap 2.4 motor that he got for 150 cause for the miles that you had on yours 300 is a hell of a deal acr's motor prolly had a hell of a lot more than that
