and then find an srt4 turbo(haha good luck me)
i have one... (and don't ask about the manifold, since the turbo is part of it, yes, you heard me right, the turbo and manifold are one piece) well, they can kind of come apart, but the turbo exhaust side gets pulled in half basically, there's a clamp thing there

anyway, i have an srt-4 turbo/manifold

i don't know anything the turbo, condition etc. other than it looks to be in good shape

i bought it from another guy on this site, and then after getting it i realized how small the srt-4 turbo is compared to the garrett t3 i have from a dodge shadow turbo

i'd rather use the t3 for myself, as i'm looking to concentrate on dragging more than daily driver comfort/driveability, so the bigger turbo is better for that

i have the full kit, tubing, intercooler, blow off valve, etc.

i bought it from him through ebay, i'll see if i can find the original posting thing

lol shipping would absoulutly kill you... and cost more then you just getting it done there...

and the pistons are good up to 500+hp mark... they do come out of the srt-4... and they give I belive a 8.8:1 compression ratio... so its not pretty un-boosted... think i remember a guy that srt'ed his 2.4 and for the hell of it put it on the dyno unboosted and he hit a whopping 105 hp... so they are low compression pistons and if you want any type of power you will need to boost the **** out of it... the pistons can hold like 20psi all day long as long as you have a good tune...
2.5 chrysler engines made 110-115hp and 130-140 torque unboosted. might be better off swapping a dohc head on a old 2.2 or 2.5 motor seeing neon heads can bolt right up to the old block because they share the same assembly line and tooling as the old blocks, from what i've heard itisn't that hard and those pistons can take 25psi and in some instantces 30 with a properly tunedfuel system. the best part is they are more plentiful than the srt4 engine is and most likely running too. theres like 30 of those cars in the junk yard a few blocks away from me and most of them would run if they had gas and a battery.

when it comes to finding the parts for the srt4 turbo to work on your car, ebay is your best friend
