91 240sx coup with a ka24det 461hp the works for 7500.00 my friend is selling it i could proble get it cheaper but i didnt really want a 240sx and i wanted to do the work. theres lots of cars i could dump my settlement money into but idk i have always been known as the kid with the bad a** neon

 

ok so i gotthefirst of many checks today and the cash is burning a hole in my pocket i think im going to go 2.2 stroker high boost and med shot dry nos stage 5 axles just beacuse, big break kit 32way adj. suspension maddog shifter already have the fuel pump and the best of everything for that set up.

i think the more power i go for the more corners i would wind up cuting im just going to aim for 350 and cut no cornershave fun use the rest on a beat up 89 240sx make a weekend drifter beater car weild the rear diff fresh ka24de for 900.00 slap a 8psi turbo in it and call it good

 

What type of turbo kit are you looking at throwing on it???

 

And you do realize that the 2.2 will take at least 6 months to a year to get to your doorstep ritgh... sorry for keep bursting you bubbles...

 

i have herd really only bad things about the indy intake manifold but if using the 2.2 with high boost will it help or hinder the performance? im pretty shure i cant push 20+ psi through the stock manifold and whats this i head about you need extra bolts and something about the steering res. being in the way?

umm sparkey3009 sugusted the Garrett gt28rs and i looked into it and the hp range is 250-350 i think thats a pretty good set up do you have something in mind??

 

I would go with a 20g turbo... there small enuf to spool fast and there in your hp range... or if you dont want boost till about 2800 you can go with a t3 or a divided T3 for boost to kick in around 2300... but the 20g will hit right around 1500 to 1800...

 

thats if i go through howell but screw that my buddys dad ownsa machine shop and he works there they got everything to do the job im just going to have to order all the parts i am just hoping howell will be nice enough to send me a parts list with specs and build it my d*** self.. well me my buddy and his dad

are you planning on doing this to a SOHC plastic manifold becuase if your talking about the stock metal intake, you can boost that thing to high heven... but I would get ahold of All Motor Mike, if you need his email addy i can get it to you... his turbo intake manifold has put down 68 more hp then the stock... and indy wont do that... indys arnt as good as people think... and amm's intake will only cost you around 420 or less... and he does amazing amazing work...
