Default Acr ecu in plymouth coffee

i was wondering if its a simple change if i wanted to put a acr ecu in a espresso plymouth and also would that change the drive ratio and take off the limiter.

Taking the rev limiter off and changing the drive ratio is what i want to do mostly

Drive ratio is affected by the tranny in the car, not the PCM. The 95 ACR doesn't have a speed limiter, but still has the rev limiter.

Mopar PCM increase the rev limiter to 7400 on the SOHC and 7600 rpm on the DOHC.

The rev limiter is there for a reason.

No, you would just need the PCM from a 95 ACR....or unplug the VSS. Of course then you won't know how fast you are going.

You cannot use a 95 ACR pcm unless you have a 95 neon as the plugs on the PCM's are totally different. As das said, the drive ratio is affected by the gears in the transmission, not the computer.

acually if you want to do all the wiring and soldering to do it you can do it... just have to find the 95 acr pcm and the long plug and start hacking...

Not a smart thing to do...

But possable
