Default Alternator belt... again!

Ok, so about a week and a half ago, I was driving down the interstate and my battery light came on. I didn't think much of it, until the next day when I had a chance to get it tested at Auto Zone, the guy there said he couldn't test the battery due to it not being charged enough. I went to walmart where I bought the thing and they said the battery was fine, that it was my alternator, they tried jumping it to get it out of the bay when a mechanic looked in the engine bay and noticed I had no alternator belt. They don't replace belts so i was stranded. Long story short, my father in-law and I got both belts replace later that night. Started with a jump and had no problems since... until now!

Today i was driving and all of sudden I heard a noise like something slapping the fender well. It was my alternator belt that was completely off and stuck in between some tubing. The Alternator belt is the inside belt, so there's not to many ( if any ) logical way that it came completely off and stuck next to the motor. Any thoughts? how long should I drive it before I retighten the belts this time, as I didn't last time.

Thanks

Dayco is decent, but not great. Gatorback is great!
