its acually not that bad at all... on your next day off just take the belt off and drive around the block really fast... I went for about 4 days without it and started whineing like a girl due to me using my arms all day at work... but if you dont use your arms all day it aint that bad.
i've heard its a lot easier if you either loop the lines together or just cut them. haven't tried it myself yet. don't wanna cut the lines then come to find out i still don't like it ya know.
yeah, i have a guy that i know, very knowlegable, kinda like u 95to96, he has helped me alot and he says the same thing.... the problem is
well take a look at mylink in my sig and u will understand...
i cant quite take the car out of my garage for some reason???? lol.... just tryin to get as many peoples opinions as possible... both first gen and sec gens... because it is all going to take money, but the junk yard should save me some of that....

my 99 dohc spit the accessory belt off a while ago. at highway speeds it was fine cuz u dont really use it. city driving and parallel parking got really annoying really fast.
yeah dont plan on parrallel parking anytime soon... heres the deal... once you get going it feels like your power steering is woking like 85% you dont have to fight it at all when your moving just little force is neccicary... but try to turn your wheels when your stopped and your arms will hurt for while...

Driving with just the belt off is actaully tougher than driving with everything removed. You do get a better feel for the road. The only place you WILL miss it, is in parking lots or trying to parallel park. Even then, it isn't all that bad.
thanks alot guys, keep the coments coming!!! i am thinkin i am going to do it tonight, i am going to run the lines in a loop, compression fittings the lines together, and i will be set. i am also going to save teh lines JUST INCASE.... i am going to get me an extra belt tensioner to cut off the power steering bracket also... got to keep everything lookin clean
