its acually not that bad at all... on your next day off just take the belt off and drive around the block really fast... I went for about 4 days without it and started whineing like a girl due to me using my arms all day at work... but if you dont use your arms all day it aint that bad.

i've heard its a lot easier if you either loop the lines together or just cut them. haven't tried it myself yet. don't wanna cut the lines then come to find out i still don't like it ya know.

my 99 dohc spit the accessory belt off a while ago. at highway speeds it was fine cuz u dont really use it. city driving and parallel parking got really annoying really fast.

yeah dont plan on parrallel parking anytime soon... heres the deal... once you get going it feels like your power steering is woking like 85% you dont have to fight it at all when your moving just little force is neccicary... but try to turn your wheels when your stopped and your arms will hurt for while...

well we took the PS off of my car and at as jeremy said at normal speeds it feels just like when i had power steering.. i was afraid to get rid of it,. cuz the ps went out in my cutlass and it was like steering a tank... well come to find out with my neon i really havent had any troubles at all...

i figure for the little less stress on the crank why not

Driving with just the belt off is actaully tougher than driving with everything removed. You do get a better feel for the road. The only place you WILL miss it, is in parking lots or trying to parallel park. Even then, it isn't all that bad.
