Default RE: egr block-off valve question

ok if the block off kit is for a 420A talon motor then it will work...

how ever there is a way to make it work for only 6 cents...
heres a quick how to...

1) Take egr valve and tube off of head and intake manifold...
2) On the valve side you will notice that a nickle will fit absolutely perfect in the hole of the gasket...
3) On the manifold side you will notice that a penny will fit right there and block off the manifold...
4) start off by inserting the nickle in the egr valve gasket if you have the metal gasket it will be alot easyer...
5) reinstall the egr valve to the head.
6) The Manifold side should be at the hole that it orginally came out of so just pull it back gently and slide a penny in between the hole in the manifold and the egr tube... and tighten back down.
7) remove the little egr sensor spaceship looking thing that connects to the egr valve via vac lines...
8) VERY IMPORTANT cap off the vac line that goes from the spaceship thingy to the brake booster...

there egr block off...

Thanks for the reassurance on that. I know thats a pretty popular site but I haven't heard any testimonials on it. I think I will order that soon. I'll also be sending out the money for the exhaust manifold today if my sis feels like dropping me off @ the post offic for 10 minutes.

you look like ***... No but anyways, my dad said that the $31 plates go on, then the egr valve goes on and then you bolt them down.... Thats not how I unserstood it. I thought the egr came out completely. Can someone clarify this for me?

the egr comes compleatly off.. including the syilinoid... and vac lines... just have to block off the vac line where it comes off the brake booster...

Sounds easy enough. I might leave the solenoid on, because I hear it wont throw a code then. Guess I hafta find out whats more important to me... a clean engine bay, or no check engine light.
