Default pulled it

i lifted my pistonless, headless, panless block off the ground and carried it 3 ft. to some bricks. then i carried the transaxle 100ft to my backyard. the engine is out. finally. lifted the car up over it.

i just pulled my first motor.

if my clutch has LuK imprinted on it, im gonna go ahead and guess its been replaced. right?
also i noticed my window sticker has transmission listed as: Perf. 5 speed manual.

did they all say that?

Congrats. I am driving the first engine I have assembled from the block on out. The crank was already there, but the rest was me. Feels neat.

and as far as the tranny goes you have the performance manual version B... its the 3.95 with the .72 5th gear, that came on all DOHC cars besides the R/T and acr between 1996 - 1999

I think they were OEM for replacement, because I had a SACHS in mind. That is a brand I presume. LUK use to be a an upgrade over the SAHCS back in 01', and was listed in the Mopar Performance site as a MP item. Later went to production. Sweet item though.

^^^^^^ I bet you a million dollars every single last 1996 - 1999 DOHC built neon had that on the build sheet and window sticker... becuase they ALL had them.
