We have 87, 89, 93 and 110 Race Fuel. 89 is usually the mid grade here, at a store called "Kwik Trip" they have 89 the same price as 87 regular, I always throw the 89 in even though it probably does nothing.

 

Funny stuff. But You should of killed that crx. I know they are quick because of how light they are. But come on. You better do a few things to gain some more hp and race him again. The thought of a honda beating a neon makes me want to cry.

well i got my car to 116 so im hopeing afteri get the tRANS from ghost that ill get even faster..

so to conclude the crx race i redlined it through each gear and i still got beat.. by about 1-2 lengths.. so yeah im thinking thathis 11-1 compression that is kicking my butt.. and his weight advantage

 

Your car has issues if you can't get to the rev limiter. And the only thing thats beating you is YOU not that piece of **** CRX. slit both of your wrists if you lose to him again!.

2.0 DOHCs have no problem getting to 130mph in stock form

If I got beat by a CRX I'd be busier than a blow up doll at a frat party tryin to get my car faster and its respect back.

Then next time I'd race him I'd make sure that when I fall into a barrell of titys I wont come out suckin my thumb!.

 

ok i wanna know wat EXACTLY this crx has done to it.... year of it and everything. because my friend has a 89(i think) crx with the 1.6sohc in it and the best he ever ran was 16.3. we had full exhaust, intake, fuel controller and laugh all you want he put 2 of the tornado things in it... and i sware to god it droped his e.t by half a second. my point is.. even a stock neon should beat it.

.... also redline or rev limiter, wich ever you run up to , is not always your friend. you can feel were your car starts to loose power in the rpm's.. wen you get to that point run it up about 500 more rpms or so and shift. if your havin wheel spin issues off the line try ridding the clutch a small amount like its and awd car or smoethin. i have lots and lots of drag racing experience and can proly tell ya a **** load of street racing ttricks to win . since the street isnt and prepped as a track your launch skills really come into play ( that why i can kill cars on the street with a stock 5spd blazer LOL)
