i was wrong on the milage....its got 68,000...but i still dont think its too bad for $250

i am most likely just gonna throw a dohc head on it....i have all the parts for it, except the pcm....so i need to find one of those unless sumone has one for sale

 

You can run it with the SOHC PCM, especially since its an auto anyway. Rev limiter would be 6750 RPM either way.

 

you will probally save some gas using the sohc pcm anyways... its like purposely leaning yourself out a hair to get more hp... so you will gain a few hp and use less fuel... not lean enuf to damage anything just enuf to make the fuel burn hotter

 

well i think i might just put another sohc head on it..

i took the old head off and the coolant ports were badly corroded and since it was a 95, it had the cardboard head gasket.....

i might do some fiburing out and try to see what it will cost to go either way
