what im planning on doing is putting a pair of Neon SRT4 rims on my 96 neon can i do it without doing any suspension work? Needing help.

yes it will work just fine... just keep the tires stock and they wont rub... dont lower the car to much or it will rub..

 

the tires that come on an srt-4 will rub. you need to run a 205/40r17 or equivalent in size


I have 205 40r 17 khumo 711 tires on srt-4 rims on my first gen. got the whole setup really cheap and im glad i did. i love how it looks.

 

see shows what the hell i know about tires... give me a motor... hell with the wheels...

 

lol. thats why im taking advice from you on my rebuild. i only know that about the tires cuz im running (or sitting rather) on srt wheels now. if i get a chance ill upload a pic of the strut clearance by the tire... cuz it aint much

hell, stock srt4 tires wont even let you get the rim close enough to the hub to bolt on...unless you let all the air out of the tire...

205/40-17's wont even really throw off your speedometer

hey spud i noticed ur r/t sold with stock wheels. did u keep the srt wheels around or sell em?

 

the r/t sold with a set of 2nd gen sxt wheels....i still have the stock r/t rims and the srt rims....but the srt rims might be going to a friend of mine since im tired of them just taking up space in my garage[8D]
