What is the demention on the SRT-4's exaust system? Is it a 2.25 like the 1st generations or larger? I assume the muffler has a higher flowrate also?

Unless you have an SRT-4 you don't want the exhuast. There is no muffler, only the cat and a resonator, I believe. A few people tried it and its like putting staight pipes on your car.

ok, Thanks alot guys. Anyone know of any 2.5 input/output mufflers I could use? Im looking for stock type mufflers because there banning the ricer exausts around here due to decible levels. So I figure if I get a higher flow stock muffler from another car itll still be quite enough to pass the dB levels but give me a little higher flow rate... and after all they can't exactly yell at me if its stock for another vehicle...theyd just look stupid.

Hmm if i was you id put a resonator on. it will quiet it down a bit. (off topic) As for a loud muffler, i got pulled over for my loud muffler. I riped it onto the parkway and a cop was on there already, and it was so loud under the over pass especially when the intake kicked in lol. he road nxt to me for a while then pulled me over. He was bout to give me a ticket but i told him my uncle was a cop. Hes like you no why im pulling you over? im like No. i was so scared cuz i had my bowl in the car. hes like rev your car. so i reved it lol, and hes like yea that sound. go get that fixed. then he left. i was cracking up. Just happy he didnt search my car. i wasnt speeding but i punched it on to the park way, peddel to the floor. DAME STATE TROOPERS

What about emmissions? I have a 97 and people keep telling me I have to worry about emmissions testing if I got a catback.

no a cat-back will not effect emisoins. Eliminating the cat or any other emision parts can make you fail.
