Default For those in california wanting to go turbo

Swap a SRT-4 motor in and go to the referee to get it approved

anythingelse is a waste of time if you want to be street legal

after talking to the CARB board, and the Beaurou of automotive repair (damn i cant spell)

there are no smog legal turbo kits for the dodge 2.0L Neon, no matter what year, SOHC or DOHC

you cant buy one thats already turbo'd from out of state and register it here

its a felony to register a vehicle at an out of state address that isnt your primary address

the fines for getting caught are in the multiple thousand dollar range and or jail time

also its a felony anywhere in the US to remove a cat converter before the first 50,000 miles on a new vehicle, even if the states dont enforce it
not that that really applies to first gen neons anymore, if you can find an original first gen with only 50,000 real miles idcrap myself

anyone interested on a how to for spherical rod end shifter bushings for all for cable ends?

ya, its pretty dumb, considering that the hahn turbo can pass the sniffer test her in california, the only thing that makes it illegal is the lack of a Carb Certification, but then again, I cant blame hahn, cause theyre right in saying that they probably wouldnt make the tens of thousands it would have taken to get one
