Default really need a help, harmonic balancer

OK any body have any ideas on getting this balancer off i have broken a 3" puller and ripped the threads out of a 4" puller. bent the bolt whenthe first puller broke. Now Im going to put attach the 3 claws from the 4" puller to an 8" gear puller ( the 8" claws wont fit in the holes ).

go to autozone and rent the proper puller....its a small 3 jaw that uses a push rod as the center push point...it will only take about 2 minuites to get the pulley off using that puller

I've broken the puller I used to get21/2pullys off and on the 3rd pully it broke so I had to break apart my donor motors timing belt cover and rip the new belt out of that motor with my bare hands due to those pullys being a bitch with the bigger puller.

My pullers usually break or strip every 3-5 times. Nothing you can do but buy another one. I get the one with a warranty so its free eevrytime.

Get a snap on blue point, they make quick work of even the most stubborn pulleys.

On my 95 motor thats been sitting in 2 inches of water for the last 2 years the pully popped right off the way you'd expecta new oneto, VERY EASY. The pully on my old sohc that I had off not more than 8 months ago is still on the motor, I broke the timing cover and took the belt out over the pully, it sucks but when your running out of day light on a Engine swap you do anything!

I attached the 4" jaws to a 8" puller with titanium bolts and alot of kroil did the trick. I made some plates to go between the EGR valve and the exhaust manifold and one between the tube and intake, let me know if any one has a problem after doing this, I think it will work well and the EGR valve will sill be there.
