ok so about 2 months ago i fell asleep driving into ny and went into a ditch for about a quater mile b4 waking.
i hit a wall of dirt in my r/t.
lady behind me said i should have flipped, i diddnt know wtf was gogin on i was asleep
long story on a debeaded tire and new fuel line fitting and alignment were needed
get back into pa, 300 miles later
code 31 evap purge soleniod
called neonmike from the org, guy sold me my car, does wonders w neons
says to replace evap canister and all the lines attached to it
i did twice and code goes away for 300 miles or so
came on again for the 3rd time today, wtf do i do?

did you replace the selonoid located on the passenger side motor mount?

the little thingy with the green cap, yea
the thing that pulls right out, it fits intot hte rubber hole, yea i chaged that
all parts from same year r/t

My hose that goes from the evap to tb isn't even connected on mine, but you may need it for emissions testing where you live. I don't see why the solenoid would be bad, if you hit the ditch I'd assume the evap canister is screwd up it sits right in the right front by the marker light.

Did you unhook the vac lines and hook them up backwards or something?

possitivly, i hate to take off my bumper to get a pic but im pretty sure i did
the evap can was a little bent up, but i got a new one and those lines only fit on it one way
could it be the little sensors by the canistor?

it could be the thinga ma jig ontop of the canister....

you made sure that the line from the fuel tank is still hooked up right? and that there are no broken wires or anything?
