After my pathetic night time videoI decided to do a proper day time video with view of speedo and road to show what a near stock ATX sohc can do with just cold air intake and straight through exhaust.

As you can imagine its hard to cam the road and steer while shifting the atx manually and going 100mph. I would have hit the Rev limiter but this is the only road I can do 100mph on without getting caught anywhere else I'm asking for it. Plus I don't feel like being scared out of my wits at 118mph holding a camera when the rev limiter goes off.

Pretty much like a said this is a stock 95sohc atx with cold air intake and open exhaust.

even in the video it shows how the car has decent acceleration until 90mph...then it just takes so long to get much higher

 

Thats 3rd gear in the atx for you though, love itfor gas mileage hate it for the extra 2 seconds it makes u wait to 100mphThe first vid it wasn't too bad but the second video it was a little longer cuz I had it flooredonce in 3rd (drive)and on first vid I did half throttle as soon as I shifted3rd gear in at 91mph so it seemed to get to 100mph more clean, driver error on my part.

With myoriginal 98sohcit used to take me till 100yards past that open field part to reach 100mph now with the 95motorI can do it a good distance before that.

 

I hope when I get a 60mm tb the results will be even better
