Your not going to lose compression from a valve cover even being off.

 

^^^I have 2 bolts that don't tighten and just spin. No loss of compression.

i didnt know they made dohcs for 95

 

not many but they did make them... I have a 95 dohc motor in my garage... they also came with the performance A 3.94 transmission...

I was told that 95 heads have that problem with the valve cover bolts. I have 2 on my ported head that don't tighten, just spin. They are in there for looks only.

well betwen the fact that i wanted a p&p head, and these bolts now spinning, i decied to get a nicely done P&P head
iu do want to run 22s, i will get one of those fuel deals spud was talking about

question time:
i know i will require a bigger exhaust, will lth and 2.5in exhuast be my best bet?
wat kind of cat and mufler should i get?
will i see any gains by using race gas in with my reular fuel(like 1 gallon to 5gallons or somehting)?
and will race gas do any damage to my car? ie race cat....
