That was a nice pull for a 3 speed atx. If a honda had that tranny it would have taken alot longer :-).

thanks man

My brother is going to be a show off now and grab his camera and have me cam his 550hp 327 1969 Camero doing a run to 120mph. Only problem is, that he's going to do a 35 second quarter mile cuz he's not gonna hook up! ahahaha he might put his slicks on for it though....

ATXs are slow on acceleration. Get you a 3.94 to put with that SOHC engine and be happy.
Oh how I love this set-up... it was the 3rd time i giggled like a little school girl about a car...

First it was the MP PCM
Then the AMM intake.
Then the 3.94
Makes for one hell of a nice SOHC without going to deep...

Ive hit 100 with my bone stock manual SOHC neon, I dont think it will go more than 1 mph over that with out a tune up and some breathing mods (and a sway bar...new performance trans, better clutch..) Iv'e heard the autos are a good deal groggier than the manuals so I gotta say im fairly impressed. but yeah, keeping gas in it is a good idea, you're lucky these things sip gas :P

SOHC speed limiter is 118 mph, so it will hit that.

What would sway bars have anything to do with top speed?
