i hope someone can help. my daughter has a 96 neon 2.0 sohc automatic. she hit a deer so car was in friends body shop they got it all fixed up now the car wont start. I have spark at the plugs/ fuel and fuel pressure at the injector rails/ checked timing belt it working/ checked timing seam to be in order. car turns over but will not fire even with a shot of starter fluid. Checked crank sensor according to book.have voltage from pcm and voltage changes as engine is tuned over. My last shot was a bad p.c.m. local bone yard tells me might be hard to find because it is a california computer and might be hard to find used. i perfer to find used one in case that not the problem anyone have an other ideas why it wont start. tried new plug but still same problem

Lol. So let me get this straight. You have 50psi fuel with working injectors, timed spark, compression right? Where was the car damaged at?

 

the damage from the dear was the hood / left head lamp/ and fender radiator. didnt touch bumper or anything she fliped the dear over the car and never stopped!!! I drove the car to the body shop (abou 5 miles) they fixed it drove to alinment shop and back (25miles) sat out side thier shop for about 5 days they went to pull it in to finish paint and wont start. so pushed it in paint booth. still wont start turns over but no start. swapped out pcm today and no change!! I am at a lost

 

are u using enough gas, not trying to run car on fumes?
and using correct octane?

this is kinda strange, but the mechanics whose shop its at cant diagnos it?
if it dided on them for having it sit for 5 days, thats on them

 

I know it sounds simple, but are the battery terminals clean (free of corrosion) and tight? All grounds secure?

 

I don't know if this is relevant, but I had this one car that would turn over and over but would not start. everything sounded fine, but it would not start. as strange as it may sound it ended up being the starter. I know it sounds werid and all because it would turn over.
This may not be your issue it is just my two cents.

 

the sensor that i was talking about in this thread https://dodgeforum.com/m_1362073/tm.htmis located on the left side on the tranny, the same side as all this damage. maybee the tech disconnected it by accident.
