ok so you are aware that 03 and up went to the new world motor that has different crank trigger and its located on the front of the motor instead of the back right... Witch means you will need to swap ever last wire from a 03 up neon for it to work... plus you will need the 58psi fuel pressure regulator... its not the same sohc thats in our 1st gens and will not work without the 03+ full wiring harness, and the ecu... or just MS it...
ok let me retract a statement from above... The 03+ chrysler motors are not "new world motors." I should have said they have just said they have a different crank wheel pattern... and the sensor is located in a different spot. In addition you would also be able to run an external crank wheel and sensor... however it takes some damn good fab skills to do that...
pretty sure the 58psi fuel regulator can be used form an 02 up, not 03

You can make an egr block off yourself. Baseline and sxt sohc neons come with the egr block off at the cylinde head. I used a nickel for my dohc manifold egr port hole. Cost is much cheaper and effective.
