I assume becuase of the year you have sohc? try the dohc pistons for a little more compression.

I'm sorry, yes it is a SOHC motor but the wrist pin location is different between the 95-99 and the 2000-2005 motors. The second gen wrist pin os offset. I work in parts and dodge doesnt offer a .020 piston for either the sohc or dohc. I thought about je pistons but the price is outrageous. Any other ideas; please keep them coming

Get a different block... Save you alot of money otherwise get the hp pistons. The are cheap and work on stock rods I think. And they sell them in oversize bore.

I am a counter guy for a Dodge parts dealer and the only oversize they offer is .020 for a 95-99 sohc.

Just be sure to buy pistons for a sohc otherwise you may have clearance issues with the bowl on the head.
