im with spud, drop the whole dramatic arguement and get back to da mans question. ive got front and rear strut tower bars, the eibach coilovers, and 17" rims. i love the way my car handles and believe it or not the eibach coilovers are actually a pretty smooth ride compared to some of the other lowered cars ive been in. my next movement is front and rear sway bars and the prothane bushings. my recommendation is do ur suspension mods b4 u get rid of your 17's
my coilovers were a lot less than they should have been. i got them thru work, i think list cost is like $2300 i dunno maybe more. but the bushings kit you can get for $110 on modernperformance.com.
Got to ask, my daily driver98 R/T handles stupid good (better then the vettes and camaros I've drove), will the strut bars, sway bars, and bushings really make much of a difference? Sorry about the hijack 99.

just drop it....stop bitching, and stay on topic
+1, also 17s help with handling but may hurt u with a lauch due to waite of the rim compaired to a stock setup... HANDLING a 17 is wider, more ruber to the ground, as for suspension- go with a set of strut bars, lowering springs, strutsand a heavier set of sway bars, along with poly bushings u will have a very nice setup....
getting a good handling car depends on alot of things, the honda u speakof handles good proly because of what is done to it (springs, maybe swaybars and struts) but u said the honda was slammed and that also makes sence on why it handles well... the lower ur center of gravity the better the car will handle in tight turns
