use the gaskets for the manifold to help you match the two halves up correctly. i ported my own manifold and its easy to get carried away and screw up something. if you go to my myspace ill hurry up and put some pics of wat all i did to mine. it takes tons of hours to port it out well and if you take your time its well worth it. i also made a plenum spacer for mine outa 9/16 thick alluminum plate.

overall just take it slow and make sure you match everything up for it to be good

its pretty easy to do... getting surface finish is the hardest part... i used a few tools from work and then dremel tooled it with sanding wheels. after that i hand sanded it and wet sanded everything till it was mirror shinny

and to be honest... you dont even need to get it mirror shiny if you just jet it down to like 120 grit its a drastic improvement...

ok, well one of the reasons i ask is because i noticed that the injectors have their own little portal at the top of the mani near the outlet. while im porting do i want to make that area just as smooth or do i wanna stay clear of that n worry bout everything else.
