Default new engine - bugs to work out

my head seems to be stripped in like two places where you put the valve cover on - which is dripping a bit of oil onto my alternator belt - yeah that sqeaking sounds great. is there anything i can do without using a bigger bolt?

i put more than normal tension on the alt. because it would actually throw the alternator belt off (the pulley itself is a little too bent to actually be using) im working on getting another pulley. it shredded my accessory belt after 800 miles. i can live without pwr steering and ac - but not an alternator.

last prob - when i go left i get a knocking in one wheel - seems to be the right (passenger side.) i guess taht could be ball joint or tie rod but im not sure. anyone had a knocking like that?

so far everything else is pretty ok for having put the car together with basically no mechanical knowlege. you guys, the fsm and the haynes manual. my family and friends who looked under my hood at a hole straight to the ground and saw everything on my back porch at one time cant believe its running.

heliciol done - worked great.

passenger axle has 225k on it - so i guess replacing it wont hurt. lol. i just did my dad's r/t this afternoon. it had a bad shake from 40-50 and replacing the axle totally knocked it out. that car handles smooth now.

i think im gonna replace the tie-rod ends too. my mpx udp should be here thursday. till then im gonna borrow the r/t to get to my college orientation.
