I have a 98 neon/sohc, bin working on it for a while.
now when I start the engine, thats fine. While in park
with the pedal to the floor the engine scream like it should.
Now when I put it in drive, well no power, takes for ever to get
to speed, but driveable. And when you get to speed ie.80Km/h
and try to hold it there, the engine kind of sputters, likea fuel problem....not sure were to start.

Any 1 have had a sim prob?

 

when you have the car in drive and are taking off, does the car shift funny? or does the gas pedel go all the way to the floor?

 

Ya sort of, engine rev's high till about 40Km/h then shifts. Like it is stuck in 1st. And the pedal is to the floor.
I have and automatic tranny.
