i put a race fmm insert in my car and holy crap does it vibrate when you start the car. a little bit at idle. but driving u dont get much over stock at all.
im saying this cuz ur solid bobble strut will do about the same.
anyway good luck. wish i'd have invested in the swap instead of all my bolt ons. oh well

The 2.4 is a dohc. It revs up to 7,200 in the neon. But I would not take it past 7 if it were me. They put out 150 hp I believe and about 150 tq. Compared to the neon it is a little bit more. To me its not really worth the swap. Enless you are doing it for other reasons then just running a stock 2.4.

To me its not really worth the swap.
20ft/lbs of torqueincrease over 2.0.no, the 2.4 does not rev as high as the 2.0.
my clutch has 2,000 miles on it and if i swapped to a 2.4 today id swap to a better clutch.
the car is going to be more apt to go, and go right now. which will be harder on a stock clutch.
it's just one of those things that would really suck to have break up on you.
im sure some ppl stuck with the stocker tho.
