RE: painted the car :)
I will post before pics on saturday
I used a compressor and spray gun for the paint, i presure washed all the paint that i could off, then i started with 100 grit sand paper on a 6 inch round air sander, all the bad spots that were peeling i took right down to metal, and the rest i just feathered out, then i switched to 220 grit and featherd it out more. i removed all my lights, bumpers, door trim and moldings, winshield washers and sprayers, roof trim. i then blew all the sanding dust off the car and wipped it down with a wax and grease remover, i tapped all my windows up and wrapped the tires in plastic, i left my doors open and used paper to tape off the cab with so i could spray the door jams. i then sprayed my primer on, sanded it down with 400, washed it again nd then sprayed another coat of primer, then i sanded it down with green scotch brite pads, washed it and then i sprayed my white on. i used acrylic enamel paint. Make sure before you spray the primer on that there are no shiny spots on the paint thats left on the car.
Biggest tip i can give is take your time!!! the more time you put in the better it will look, painting a car properly is a pain in the ***. but rushing and doing it half assed wont help either
