Default trying to setup 95 sohc for dirt circle track

Ok so i have a 95 neon sohc. Right now its all gutted out and the cage is being put in along with reinforced bumpers and nerf bars to protect the car in case it gets hit which it will. So far I have the stock bottom end, the head has been sent out to be shaved to bump the compression ratio and its getting ported/polished and a 4 angle valve job. Also got a comp cam. I'll have to get the numbers on it but its the biggest one you can get without computer mods. Have a shorty header that will be run open except for about a 3ft. pipe mounted to it. And I am waiting to get a cam gear before the motor goes in.

My ? is how can I make this thing go faster especially since I'll be on the dirt and running in a circle instead of the 1/4 mile. I also need to know how much I can advance the timing? Im pretty new to the neon. I've been running mustangs for the past 10 years. Just looking to have some run in the dirt now. Sorry for this being so long and appreciate any help and suggestions any of you might have. Thank you.
