Default any ideas? on cruise control

my 95 neon is equipped with cruise control but when i mess with the controls nothing happens. i touch the on button the light never comes on. it doesn't do anything. is this a typical problem with all neons or do i just need to take it in and have it looked at?

our neons dont have a cruise control light.

either way, if the cruise isnt working, its generally either a blown fuse, bad vaccum actuator, or a bad vaccum line sumwhere

The vacume actuator is a pot about 4 inches round with a metal cap on one end that the cable for the cruse comes out of. Look on your tb and follow the cable that is attached to the bottom of the throttle arm over to it. After you've found it, check the hoses and such to make sure that it's hooked up properly.
