5 speed or auto
ORIGINAL: RT_Driver
It's called a sequential transmission. It's not an auto, and it's not a stick. A sequential doesn't use torque converters or clutches. From what I've read about them they use a dog box. And the cost for one of them is around the price a SRT-4.

look at high end cars, like the me-412. it had a 'manually shifted automatic transmission'. you know what that means?

eh... didn't know that.
still illustrates my point.
regardless.... some mod really oughta lock this thread, it's been said a few times now:
It's all opinion. no system is better than another 100% of the time. arguments are pointless.
Yes, it's all preference
. Forget the drama though (It's not that serious)[&:].
I like the manual transmissions because I have more control of my car. I also like to hear my exhaust when I shift down. I like the gargling

Yes; a lot of people are just lazy (like yourself)
.
I don't understand when people get exotic cars like Ferrari's with automatic transmissions though (especially when it's not your every day car anyway). Those cars are supposed to be for fun. U shouldn't be lazy when u drive those cars. They have aftermarket options for Vipers to change the trans to auto too[:'(].

lol...funny stuff, hey chud298, you're from the northeast? Whereabouts? I live in Maine, as northeast as it gets hehe. Btw, my friend has a 1998 neon sport 5 speed and I drove it a few times in a snow strorm or 2 and the ****ing thing handled mint in the snow, so yea, sticks are way better in the snow buddy
