That's your primary problem right there. If it isn't straight, its gonna leak. Gonna have to do it all over again.

Yep! There are very precise specifications. Best way to check is a straight edge and a feeler gauge. Usually machine shops will check it for free. Be sure you get the mls head gasket not the paper one. Did you get that head bolt out that your broke? Did you re-use the same head bolts? Because they are torque yield bolts. You can only use them once.

i honestly dont even believe you can find a paper gasket.....everyone sells the steel ones only...

since you never got the bolt out, then that would be the problem....

head warpage isnt a major issue unless the car has been hardcore overheated many times, the point of the MLS headgasket is to compensate for slight warpage....

the head bolts can actually be saftely used 2 times....they just suggest replacing them each time...i honestly have never bought new head bolts while chaging a head gasket....ive always reused the old ones without any issues

You should not be reusing head bolts either.

My sisters boyfriend put the paper one in is car last year. He said He ordered it. I slapped him. SO yea they are still out there, be carefull.

I tried to reuse the bolts and always seem to snap on off.
