what site i cand buy a good performance fuel rail for my 2.0 dohc 98 neon the only sites i no of are modernperformance and howellautomotive and they dont have fuel rail they use to have them on ebay for my car but i just looked and they dont have them no more plz if any one can post some sites

yea its the 420a motor and i need more fuel becouse i have 12 to 1 comp. and iam getting spark knocking i got 11 to 1 pistons my heads shaved and has been p&p'd so i was looking for a bigger fuel rail i put in a better pressure regulature and it got rid of some of my bottem end pinging it only happens at lower rpms at higher rpms it goes away so iam tryign to uprgade my fuel and spark but i have recently fryed my piston rings so iam ganna replace those and put a thick *** head gasket on to help lower the comp. so maybe i could put a 75shot on it

 

so you swapped the engine from an eclipe in your neon? exhaust/intake and everything?
did you use the eclipse tranny too?

i bet it was a pain in the *** to pipe in the exhaust seing as it would run around the front of the motor

 

the 420a motor comes in all 95-99 non turbo eclipses and it also comes in ur 1st gen neons the motor is the same but the intake manifold and exhaust are swaped like u said the eclipse motor puts out like maybe 5more hp with the setup they have iam not sure how much more but i was told they do put out more hp but not by alot my acr puts out 150 stock and iam not sure if u can do the eclipse 420a swap or not iam sure u can but it would be a pain u would prolly need a eclipse radiator and fans

 

That is a big myth! The Dodge DOHC engine IS NOT A 420a engine, nor has it ever had the 420a engine in it. The 420a engine is Mitsubishi's engine code for it's DOHC that it borrowed from Chrysler (who designed the ECC <----DOHC engine code for the neon), reversed the head and dropped it into the Eclipse. So the correct way to say it, would be that the Eclipse has the Neon engine in it.....but people don't say that because the Eclipse was used in the Fast and Furious and not the neon
