Help Wiring Amp :)

Hello, I need some help on getting the power wire Through the Firewall, were is the best place to put it through? I have a 97' Neon

i just went thru the rubber groment that the engine wiring harness goes thur. its on the drivers side

thats the same place i always go through...just cut a slit in the gromet and push the wire through

or if the cars an auto through the hole were the clutch cable goes

i drilled a hole through the firewall and used rtv to seal it after i was done
