Exclamation wtf! i keep fryin coil packs left and right

this is about the 4th coil pack that i've mysteriously fried. the car misses at passed 1/4 throttle and at idle but anywhere in between its fine. i'll backfire real bad out the intake if you floor it at a low rpm in gear. but everytime i replace the pack it'll be fine. it fries the pack whenever i go around beatin on the motor and steppin on the throttle but that shouldn't keep killin the coil packs. its really frustrating what could be the problem

i actually had to extend the wires to the coil pack for the motor swap so i just added like 10 inches to all 3 wires and taped them up real good. however one time the wires fell on my header and melted through so i repaired it with tape and re routed them but they should be fine

nope just twisted them and taped them individually. its actually seeming to be gettin better now after bein easy on it. i swapped on another used coil pack and it was doin the same thing so this time it might not be the coil pack. maybe a bad camshaft or crank position sensor or knock sensor idk. all i have a code for is egr flow but im usin the stock computer now.

A brand new harness will be real expensive from the dealer.

Agreed ,and redo your wiring correctly before your filling an insurance claim.
