The motor itself is stock, no real performance parts. But I did tear it down to the block and cleaned and replaced everything i could. as for the valve job, yes but i didnt replace the valves, just cleaned them up.

pretty much all parts got cleaned and painted before installing again too.
I know there is some more stuff but i cant think of anything else right now.

I wasn't planning on racing this car, I didn't need anything to crazy. I just need a semi quick daily driver. and that's what I got. My Sohc sucked up quit a bit of water a while ago and hydro locked that was the whole reason for swapping the engine. I did all the work by my self, it was the first time i have swapped/rebuilt a motor. so it was meant as a learning experience. I definitely did learn a lot. I am have full time job and also a full time student (I'm 18). So it did take a while to do, but i got it done.

Sounds good. Good work. On my second engine the piston rings were the only thing left alone. Caused blow by and failure. Building a 2.4L this time. I'd recommend a ebay udp to really accent the mods you have. Keep up the good work.

yeah i know i was very close to getting MPx but the money got real tight at the end. so i had to put the stock one back on. maybe in the future hear ill get one.

The ebay Megan udp is about $30-$40. Works the same.
