btw how did you get ur shift **** off? does it twist?

thers two tabs on both sides on the bottom of the ****. just push the shift boot down and youll see what im talking about.

Default 1998 dodge neon

ok so my son was driving our 98 dodge neon and he now only can use gears 1-4. he has lost 5th and reverse. does anyone have any idea of what that might be.

Check the bushings on the shifter and on top of the transmission.

awesome help DAS2123 got it fixed with a paperclip to hold it until i can get the part.
