Default shifter linkage/ shifting problem

Ok so i have a white r/t that im trying to sell, and it just developed a new problem. I can shift into gears 1, 3, and 5, but not into 2, 4, or reverse. does any one know what the hell is the problem? i really need to sell this car and its kind of hard to sell a car with only 3 of the 5 gears, and no reverse... help please as soon as possible.

Hello,

Sounds like a bad shifter cable. I would unhook the cables from the trans and try to shift it by hand, if you can then you do have a bad cable. Hope this helps.

Get some Booger bushings for it and that won't happen again. www.boogerbushings.com
