yah that site is right i wish i could find a site to see what my car ran when it was stock, but the GSX will def. rape the talon lol...AWD usually walks FWD but not every front wheel drive as my brother in law has a Supercharged Cobalt SS and he blows STI's and EVO's out of the water like there standing still but this eclipse GSX will walk the talon hands down providing he doesnt have any other work done

 

no the information isnt incorrect it def. right cuz the supercharged cobalts have 205hp and it was right so its right info and you will rape his talon depending on what he has done to it

dont do it. that style eclipse is ugly as hell in my opinion. and like spud said, look at the horsepower difference? either pass on the deal, or buy it, sell it, get another neon, and build on the neon. in the end it will be more ponies anyway.

 

Trade and Sell...You'll end up better...Mexicans love them style eclipse around here...could easily get $3000 cash for it.

 

i see neons selling around here for about 700-1000, can put a new motor and tranny in it for another 1000, new car, and some money to spend.

thats simply not possible unless the cobalt has a hell of alot of upgrades

a friend of mine had a 91 eclipse gsx with a few upgrades and the car was still a pooch....back when i had my red r/t with a stock motor and the srt4 turbo i could walk all over that car with no problems

 

he had at the time a 3.0 in pulley and that was pretty much it now he has a 2.5 or 2.4 i forgot and bigger fuel injectors and stuff now he has it lowered 2" and BFG KDW's all the way around andbigger axels cuz he snapped his stock axels he is running over 325 horses now he has other mods he said by the end of summer he will be pushin a little over 400 horses and yes he know thats for sure he had it dynoed at synapse motorsports for the people who disbelieve when i went for a ride in it he taped a $20 bill to the dash and said if i can get it off the dash when he was on it i could have it but i couldnt pull my body up to get it when he was on it and i coulda used that $20 lol...and nice

 

sorry to disrupt your post but you should def do the trade your in favor on this trade more power and better resale value then the neon
