if your oil cap has some white stuff on it, you more then likely have a head gaskit leak. You should ckeck your coolant and see if the rad cap has more of the white slime on it. Direct comp test wont show it much even when the engine is warm. you would have a better chacne of finding the leak with a differential comp test AKA leak down test

I would do a leak down test, and pressure check the cooling system.

the guy replaced the engine wiht a 2003 engine. in excellent shape no rust on the block absoultle clean itsa a nice lookin engine. the guy also let me keep the bad engine. yay so i got spare parts and ****. hopfully this engine holds up to the turbo on it. and the hr 259 cam i installed. im only gunna runa the minimum. i might even take teh actuator off of the waste gate so its wide open for now untill the engin gets a few miles and get it all cleaned up and broken in again and do a nother oil change to get out what gunk it had from sitting for a bit. what do you guys think?? also guys i got a question if the acutlator has a 6 psi spring can i boost more then 6 psi with a 6 psi spring? i got a electriconic boost controler a apexi avr c controller. so couldi set it at .45 kg/ cm2 (8 psi) and 90% duty?? or will that not work????
