when I first completed my turbo install I had a boost leak and couldn't build any boost. I took the pipe off at the throttle body and it was blowing TONS of air through the system (enough to blow your hat off) but it wasn't enough to compress the air. Performance gains weren't noticable. As I fixed leaks, boost went from 0 to 2 psi then 4 psi and finally 8 psi. Every single bit of extra "BOOST" was a noticable difference. If this isn't enough to actually compress the air then it's a waist of money.
I agree, my brother bought one and it actually stalled his car out, made it idle rough and showed no noticible gains. People just stick those on without realizing that extra air needs extra fuel. It's more of a restriction then anything at WOT, save your money..
yeah, HUGE waste of money... as stated several times in this thread, save ur money and buy something that will accually help ur hp, and not restrict it...
