its sad :'( my granparents took my neon away because im never home and they are giving it back to the bank :'( luckily ive found another coupe. its black (the color i want). I want to create a sleeper neon that can kick *** any ideas? any and all would be greatly appreciated. thanx

 

Swap a SRT4 motor in it. Then put stage 3 on it.

 

why would they give it back it looks like you got alot of money into it ??

 

im not getting any help on this build so im on a modest budget. but thats a good idea almost had an srt-4 motor. damn my brokeness at the time. and idk they are all bastards

hmmm... a delivery boy that works with me at papa johns has the same front fascia on a eagle talon .... it actually looks pretty cool... except for the fact that the painrt is pealing off and he only has 2 rims instead of 4 >.> o yea and did i mention its ****! but anyway yours looks pretty bad ***... sorry you had to dicth it =( give it a proper barial for us!

 

SRT-4 is NOT the only motor in the world for Neons....you want a sleeper car?? Go to Manciniracing.com...they have turbo kits...suspension kits...cages...bored pistons...custom heads...everything you want for your first gen car...and it will all look stock and **** up the srt-4.

 

You can pull a good amount of power out of a regular 2.0 SOHC motor. Its does not have as much potential as a 2.4, but there is plenty of HP in there.

 

You're right, its not the ONLY motor in the world for neons. BUT, why mess with turboing a SOHC neon when you can just pull your motor and drop a factory turbo'ed one right in there without that big of a problem.

 

Its not just a drop in. If I am correct there are fitmant issuses, wiring issues, and transmission issues. Its not that easy. A Chill factory kit comes with everything you need.
